On August 27, the lion dance workshop of "Discover China" series was successfully concluded at Onslow College. Students experience a variety of lion dance moves.

The lion dance workshops of the "Discovery of China" series were held successively in Hutt International Boys' School and Onslow College, attended by nearly 100 students from grades 9 to 13. At the beginning of the activity, Vincent briefly introduced the lion dance. The lion is powerful in appearance, vigorous in action and changeable in expression. The teacher then compared the lion dance to "teasing the cat," in order to help students master the secrets of lion dancing. In the process of learning lion dance, students put on beautiful lion costumes and heavy lion heads to experience a variety of lion dance moves.

At the end of the activity, accompanied by the deafening sound of gongs and drums, four lions composed of eight students marched into the lecture hall, bringing an incomparable lion dance performance to the teachers and students of the whole school, which won warm applause and cheers. After the performance, the actors take off the heavy lion's head, sweat wet their foreheads, but the young and lively faces are filled with bright smiles.
